The Trail Shelter was
our first construction project. Located on the West Orange Trail just west of
the town of Oakland, it serves as a meeting place for work parties and is our
temporary trail head. Within the shelter is a nicely illustrated wall panel
showing the extent of the preserve and present and future projects.
We invite you to visit the
shelter and view this Interpretive Exhibit explaining the ONP environment. This
4'x18' full color presentation, developed for us by local artist Mike Malloy,
depicts the four habitat "zones of restoration" within the ONP and what to
expect as the preserve develops over the years. |
