Eagle Scout Projects

Congratulations on reaching this point in your scouting career and thank you for your interest in completing your Eagle Project with us!

Visit our Projects & Needs page for a list of potential projects.  We also welcome other ideas that support our mission.

Review the information below and follow the steps.  Contact our Volunteer Coordinator with any questions.

Step 1

Step 2

Submit a brief project proposal detailing the scope and timeline of your project.

Your proposal must show consideration for and include how you plan to address any potential environmental impacts caused by the project, including proximity to wildlife habitats and protected areas of the Preserve.

If you are under the age of 18, your parent or guardian must review and complete the forms with you.

Requirements

Your project must not:

  • Pose any threat to plants or wildlife on or near the property
  • Interfere with other Preserve projects (past or pending)
  • Conflict with current Preserve branding guidelines or policies

Proposals will be reviewed and approved on a first-come first-served basis, at the discretion of the Preserve.  Please allow up to four (4) weeks for project review and approval.

Contact the Volunteer Coordinator at Outreach@OaklandNaturePreserve.org or 407-905-0054 with any questions or to check the status of your proposal.

Thank you Eagle Scouts
