Join us for Open House 2018

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2017 Open House such a memorable event!

Our staff, volunteers, donors and visitors made this a GREAT day for all involved. This annual fundraising event is held onsite, and all proceeds raised benefit Oakland Nature Preserve.

Throughout the day, ONP hosted a Bird Hike, Boardwalk Tours, a Restoration Walk and an Edible Plant Hike, along with a broad range educational seminars. Also present were representatives from FOLA, Turtle & Tortoise Club, Bugs and Bugs, Lake Louisa State Park (snake exhibit) the Green Mountain Scenic Byway. Members of the local Charter school also attended, offering Children’s Arts & Crafts Nature Workshops.

A BIG thank you to our wonderful donors, visitors, volunteers and staff who helped to make this event so successful. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!
