Firefly Hike

Firefly Hike 

Join our director, Jennifer Hunt, at the end of the boardwalk, on the Lake Pavilion (15-20 minute walk from the parking area), Saturday May 19th at 8:05pm, for a night hike along the boardwalk in search for fireflies. 

She will give a talk at 820pm, where participants will learn about the plants and animals that live in the wetlands. As the group heads up the boardwalk at 835pm, they will get a chance to view fireflies in the forested wetlands.

No charge to attend this program, but donations are gratefully appreciated, and help to support this and future programs.

The main gate will be locked on arrival Saturday evening, please park in the upper church parking lot, and enter the pedestrian gate of the Preserve.
