Invasive Species Blitz "Toga" Party Volunteer Workday

Oakland Nature Preserve's Invasive Species Blitz "Toga" party will be held on the Preserve property at 747 Machete Trail, Oakland, on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Please pre-register for this event. Plan to arrive at 7:45 a.m. for orientation, check-in and briefing. Staff will meet volunteers on the porch of the Education Center (large log cabin building, just off the parking lot). Please wear close-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

The site will provide "togas" for participants to prevent contaminating recently restored areas. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle, snacks if needed, and a pair of gloves.
