Art in nature
Do you enjoy hikes, exploration, and art? Join us for
Spring Break camp.
In this week long camp our students will not only explore the natural world around them but also interpret their experiences into visual art. Using various art mediums and techniques students will create one of a kind masterpieces that reflect the ecosystems and habitats of the Lake Apopka Basin. Students will examine how our environment is intricately layered and interrelated just like a piece of art. Students will learn how to observe nature from an artist’s point of view and document their observations. Students will use the processes of printmaking, cyanotypes, sculpture, painting and book making. All art supplies are included.
Before and after care available for $25 / per camper for the week. This includes drop-off at 8:00 and pick-up at 5:00.
